Fish and Fruit New Moves make the ideal canapé or nibble for a warm spring or summer day. Fill rice paper coverings with verm noodles, Fish, sweet fruit cuts, jalapeños and new spices, then serve the rolls close by your most loved plunging sauces.


  • 3 ounces vermicelli noodles
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ pound shrimp, and deveined
  • 10 sheets rice paper (new roll coverings)
  • 1 little mango, stripped, cored and daintily cut
  • 2 jalapenos, cultivated and cut
  • ¼ cup new basil, generally hacked
  • ¼ cup new cilantro, generally hacked
  • 1 pack green onions, cut
  • Plunging sauces, for serving (discretionary): Nut sauce, hoisin sauce as well as nuoc cham (Vietnamese plunging sauce)


  1. In a medium pot, heat 2 quarts of water to the point of boiling. Cook verm noodles for 4 to 5 minutes, or until delicate. Channel noodles, holding the cooking fluid, and wash with cold water. Move noodles to a little bowl and throw with sesame oil, lime squeeze and salt. Put away.
